About Us

Our little shop has been a labor of love and a family affair. After owning Leaping Leopard Antiques in Lafayette, IN since 2016, we purchased this property in December 2021. I finally convinced Steve we needed a place to keep me busy once I finally retire from nursing and the kids are on their own. Being the supportive husband he is.....he went for it! We had a few renovations to do, including new flooring, paint, knocking down a wall (a last minute decision), and a "surprise" new roof. We opened on September 17, 2022 on the day of the Apple Popcorn Festival in Brookston. I could not live out my little dream without my family. My husband Steve is my heavy lifter, my CFO, and truly my partner. My dad is my furniture repair man and him and mom team up with me on picks. Our son Mason keeps the yard mowed, is also my heavy lifter, and my trailer-backer-upper (because all these years later I STILL can't do it!). My mother-in-law makes most of our lovely hand made items and my father-in-law is my IT department. Last but not least.....our daughter Molly is my junker (sorry....antique dealer.....) in training!
